After playing the melodeon for a number of Morris Dance sides, Mark also began playing for barn dance bands, firstly in Cambridgeshire then was subsequently lured into playing for a dance band in Colchester for which Jon was sound engineer/roadie/chauffer/dogsbody etc. etc. Once this finally disbanded, and after a few years break, Mark once again got itchy fingers and decided to form MOST UNEXPECTED, along with Jon and Dave.

Mark may well introduce concertina to the band if some, as yet unknown, benefactor would be kind enough to donate at least £5000 to this very worthwhile cause!
